TRANSOCEAN - DEEPWATER HORIZON

 During the original construction of the Deepwater Horizon offshore drilling rig, carpet and a cementitious underlayment were installed in the staterooms and offices. Additionally, tile was installed in the bathrooms. The Deepwater Horizon decks were beginning to experience failures resulting in the need for renovations.

Transocean was looking for a flooring system that could replace their current system, have a longer service life, be both waterproof and abrasion resistant, yet aesthetically pleasing. PolySpec Construction Services recommended our IMO/ABS approved IMO LUX, IMO CLAD, and FLEX IMO systems.
