BOTTLING PLANT:

After over 30 years of abuse from caustic chemicals and hot water wash downs on a bare concrete floor, the concrete in this bottling plant was left pitted and eroded with exposed aggregate and severe deterioration. The owner wanted to resurface the floor with a system that would prove to be a long term investment. The topping needed to withstand chemical exposure, constant thermal cycling and water exposure, and all other factors common to the beverage industry.

In addition, the flooring material could have no odor during installation for fear of product contamination. The contractor chosen had to be able to provide a complete turn key installation with minimal down time.

TuffRez® RT was chosen because of its low odor, durability, ease of installation, and extremely fast turn around time. PolySpec Construction Services provided onsite project management during the installation to ensure total success and peace of mind for the customer.
