Kellogg NA Co. had an existing 25,000 SF packaging area where the Cheez-It® crackers are packaged for distribution. The existing floor surface was badly gouged and damaged from packaging equipment and vehicular traffic.
PolySpec Construction Services successfully handled the following strict requirements:
- Install containment around the entire 25K SF area
- Properly wrap all fixed equipment to prevent contamination
- Patch and repair existing floor surface
- Apply PolySpec Non-Slip Resurfacing System
- Complete job during a short 7-day shut down period

- Products had to be seamless, abrasion resistant and contain anti-microbial
- Construction management team needed to mobilize with short notice and complete the job quickly to prevent minimum plant downtime
- Overall appearance of finished job needed to look professional to meet Kellogg’s Corporate Standards
